Turkey “Stew”

Remember Wednesday’s traditional turkey?

Well everyone knows you use it up by making turkey soup on a cold November Sunday!

No big recipe needed – just boil the bird in some seasoned water till the flavor is rendered and the meat is falling off the bones. Strain and add back in the picked meat. And the celery and onion purchased for the traditional style stuffing – well no one ever uses up all of it for the stuffing – so chop up the rest for soup and throw in some carrots too. I like to adds lots of salt and pepper and a little dried rubbed sage.  One bag of egg noodles later…..
